Odd pair of numbers is one of the important topics in competitive exams for different types of employment test in which logical question are being asked. Students can improve their aptitude skill by practicing this topic odd pair of numbers.

In odd pair of numbers if the students are clear with the concepts and ideas of this topic, they can easily do any type of problems in this topic.



1. Find the odd pair of numbers.

(a) 55 - 42

(b) 69 - 56

(c) 48 - 34

(d) 95 - 82




2. Find the odd pair of numbers.

(a) 18 - 45

(b) 16 - 40

(c) 14 - 28

(d) 8 – 20

ANSWER:

1.Solution:

Subtract the numbers;

55 – 42 = 13

69 – 56 = 13

48 – 34 = 14

95 – 82 = 13

Here, 48 – 34 = 14 which is not similar to the other.

Therefore, 48 – 34 is the odd pair of numbers.



Answer: 48 – 34.

Solution:

Multiply 2.5 to the first number to get the second number.

18 × 2.5 = 45

16 × 2.5 = 40

14 × 2.5 = 35

8 × 2.5 = 20

Here, 14 × 2.5 ≠ 28

Therefore, 14 - 28 is the odd pair of numbers.



Answer: 14 - 28
