Purpose : To prepare for  written exam of SBI JUNIOR ASSOCIATES (CLERK)/SBI  PO/IBPS PO/ IBPS CLERK/RRB PO/ RRBASSISTANT
For Improvement in Quantitative Aptitude/Numerical ability.

 Solve minimum 100 Questions of AREA, PERIMETER,TRIANGLES,CUBES  AND SYMMETRY  today.

 SOLVE:
  1. A rectangular field measures 10 m by 3 m.
What is the area of this field?

2.   A square-shaped room measures 6 m on one side.
What is the perimeter of this room?
. 3.  Mary wants new carpeting for her dining room.
Her dining room is a 5 m by 10 m rectangle.
How much carpeting does she need to buy to cover
her entire dining room?

4.   Isabella is making a display board for the school
elections. The display board is a 10 m by 6 m
rectangle. She needs to add a ribbon border
around the entire display board. What is the
length of ribbon that she needs?

5.   Jasmine is making a display board for the school
talent show. The display board is a 10 m by 9 m
rectangle. If ribbon costs Rs2 per  m , how much will
it cost to add a ribbon border around the entire
display board?

6.   Danny has a rectangular rose garden that measures 8 m
by 10 m. One bag of fertilizer can cover 16
m2. How many bags will he need to cover
the entire garden?

7. Find the perimeter, area and length of the diagonal of the rectangle when ………… 
  (a) length = 35 cm     breadth = 12 cm 
  (b) length = 12 m     breadth = 5 m 
  (c) length = 24 m     breadth = 7 m 


8. The perimeter of a rectangle is 326 cm and its length is 98 cm. Find its breadth and area. 

9. The perimeter of a rectangle is 50 m and its breadth is 12 m. Find its length and area. 

10. The length and diagonal of a rectangle are 40 cm and 41 cm. Find its breadth and perimeter. 

11. Find the breadth and perimeter of a rectangle if its length is 36 m and its area is 540 m2. 

12. Find the length and perimeter of a rectangle if its breadth and area are 19 m and 475 m2. 

13. The sides of a rectangle are in the ratio 4 : 5 and its perimeter is 90 cm. Find the dimensions of the rectangle and hence its area. 

14. The sides of a rectangle are in the ratio 3 : 7 and its area is 1029 m2. Find the dimensions of the rectangle, and then find its perimeter. 

15. Find the cost of fencing a rectangle garden at the rate of $7.50 per m if its length and breadth are in the ratio 4: 3 and its area is 1200 m2. 

16. Find the cost of flooring the verandah at the rate of $12 per m2 if the length and breadth of the verandah are in the ratio 3 : 2 and its perimeter is 40 m.

If you are fast in addition/subtraction/division and multiplication. it means you are saving 10 to 15 sec per question. It results in saving 500 sec. in  overall paper. It means that you can solve 10 questions more than your competitor. so spend most time on practice of these basic operations.
