Effect of lower post in IBPS PO 6 :

How to tackle situation arisen due to low vacancies this year. Let us analyse the situation. say last year total post were 16000. so 64000 candidates were shortlisted for interview. out of these 16000 were allocated banks and 1600 were kept in reserve list. so there are 46400 candidates failed in interview or could not qualify over all cut off. now all these last year qualifiers will reappear in exam. but due to 8822 number of vacancies , only 35288 candidates will be called for interview.
due to this this time , all last time selected candidates may not be called for interview. further some first time candidates will also qualify for interview.
It means even if you passed last time, it may be difficult this year due to lower vacancies. So level of competition is tough this year.,
