As per latest data released today WPI fell for the 15th straight month in January with the Wholesale Price Index ( WPI)-based inflation declining 0.9% from a year ago and 0.73% decline recorded in December 15.

From above we observe that WPI continues to be in negative territory. This has put lot of pressure on manufacturing sector.
